Little Acorns' Home Learning

Message from Mrs Bowes - 13.07.20

Good morning everyone,

We made it through to the last week of a very strange term. Attached is a plan for this last week.

The sum dog competition last week was won by Chloe with Harry-George second and  Summer Conroy third. Well done Will, Solomon, Clara, Mabel, Oliver, Jake and Alastair for your efforts. Certificates to the top three and coins for all.

I am sad to be getting to the end of this year  as I love being in the Reception class, but Mrs Bruchez will be back in the saddle in September after her maternity leave. I will hopefully have the opportunity to teach this class again as they progress through school. It has been a strange year but a very enjoyable one until the lock down! It was lovely to get the children back for the last few weeks.  Our work this week will be based around transition to year 1.

The reports will be out this week. Please note they are a snapshot of the children's progress and based on the 'characteristics of effective learning' which is part of the Government EYFS assessment.

Thank you all for your support this year in difficult circumstances.

Love from Mrs Bowes 😊
